Deleting your account

This page explains how to delete your Didcot Community Badminton app account and what happens to your data. It applies to the Didcot Community Badminton app on iOS, Android and the web.

Delete from within the app

Sign in, then go to Account Settings > Help > Delete My Account and confirm. A club volunteer will complete the deletion within 30 days. You can cancel the request from the same screen at any time before the deletion completes.

Delete by email

If you can no longer sign in, email info@didcotbadminton.co.uk from the address registered to your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We will action the request within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile (name, contact details, address, photo, emergency contact, Badminton England number), notification tokens, support messages and household links are permanently deleted. Outstanding session credits are forfeited unless a refund is agreed with the club.

What we keep, and for how long

Payment records are retained for 6 years to meet HMRC requirements, and anonymised booking history may be kept for up to 2 years for club statistics. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
